The opening sequence

Opening sequence for my genre 1/17/21

     In horror films during the opening scene you would sometimes see what’s known as a flashback. That’s when the film director would go to a moment that happen in the past or before the event took place. Other movies would just jump straight into the movie. It all just depends on what the director or producer would was to do.

     During this opening sequence you should get a feel on weather or not you will like the movie. The movie should graders it’s viewers attention without revealing to much but just enough to have you want to know what’s going to happen. It should set a mood and tone between the screen and the audience.

      The first 2 minutes of a horror movie isn’t usually to much going on but that depends on what type of opening sequence it is. See if the opening sequence starts off with a flashback you would mostly likely be hit with a lot. The first 2 minutes of the movie is like a warmer up to how good the movie might be.
